International Road Race, Indiana 1919

This footage is from the 1919 International Motorcycle Road Race, a landmark event and first major race after World War I in Marion, IN. The race featured Harley-Davidsons, Excelsiors, and Indians. The H-D Wrecking Crew swept the competition and notable bikers of the day, Leslie “Red” Parkhurst took 1st, Ralph Hepburn took 2nd and Otto Walker took 3rd.
